Funktional Loonacy - "Shake it Easy"

"Funktional Loonacy is a great name for a great band. This six-piece is a highly accomplished unit that specializes in rhythmic, funk-rock excursions that are laced with a variety of other musical influences and some oddball nuances. Its CD release, Shake It Easy, is a little wacky, but worthy of attention. The album reflects the bands diverse musical influences and its solid musicianship. In the quirky "Country Toon," there is a great harmonica solo while the bands more muscular funk tendencies are explored in the soulful, jazzy explorations of "Getting Dark" and the contagious "Loose-leaf."..."
